Today's main bearcast is short as I feel rotten. Apologies. In it I cover events in Zimbawe and look forward to the execution of Africa's Hitler. I look at Purplebricks (PURP), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), West African Minerals (WAFM) and Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN)

At 4.12 PM yesterday it was announced that my old friend Jim Mellon and his associate Gerard Holden had resigned with immediate effect from West African Minerals (WAFM). Old Jim founded the company and was its chairman. It is now almost game over for West African and the scores on the doors are shocking.

Great news - may father is back home from hospital so I head back up to Warwickshire in a couple of days. Thereafter between him and the Mrs entering the final month it will be less of me, Steve Moore is in charge. Bash him if anything goes wrong. In today's podcast I look at City of London (CIN), IGAS (IGAS), XCite Energy (XEL), Wishbone Gold (WSBN), Nyota (NYO) and West African Minerals (WAFM).

I start with Aiden Earley and Worthington - Gotcha! It was NOT an April Fool, he really is speaking on "faith & money" at UK Investor Show on April 18. Then on to Quindell, Daniel Stewart, the criminal Rob Terry, Coms, Hunter Resources (sorry bad language in that section but the tools deserve it), Real Good Food, China Chaintek and the other Fujian frauds, Afren, The Innovation Group and then West African Minerals, Mwana, my good friend Jim Mellon and the issue of shareholder democracy.

I start with a few admin matters. Is Britain corrupt? I have recorded a postcard on that matter on my personal site which you may find interesting HERE. Secondly a couple of corrections on Synety but my stance is unchanged. Then I look at why folks appoint join brokers and then at Patagonia Gold, West African Minerals, China Chaintek and have an explicit warning of bad news to come this afternoon for Big Ray Zimmerman at ZAI Corporate Finance
If you like bearcast you will love UK Investor - book your seats for 18 April HERE

On Sunday Shareprophets rightly criticised West African Minerals (WAFM) for repricing options for its directors. I chatted to Jim Mellon at the weekend and he rather weakly said it was to incentivise the board.
I do not thing that risk free options incentivise anyone, I disagree with this idea but sadly it is a feature of the AIM Cesspit.
